How to fertilize peanuts ?
Peanuts contain many kinds of
nutritious, such as monoacids, minerals and vitamins. Among them, to form a ton
of dry matter, peanuts need to absorb 39 grams of manganese. If peanuts cannot
absorb enough manganese trace elements, it would show manganese deficiency
symptoms that the partly intrapulse of leaves tend to yellowish, but leaf vein
still keep green. Manganese fertilizer application in the manganese lacked soil
can obviously increase peanut yield at 8 to 11%.
Easy methods of application:
(1) Used as base fertilizer.
Fertilize manganese sulfate 1.5~3.0 kg every acre when ploughing;
(2) Used as seeds treatment.
Before sowing, treat the seeds with 0.05 ~ 0.1% manganese sulfate solution for
12 to 24 hours;
(3) Used as spraying. Started from
early 30 to 50 days peanuts planting to 15 to 20 days before harvest, spray
with 0.1% manganese sulfate solution one time every 10 to 14 days; if
necessary, it could be mixed with peanuts leaf spot fungicide.
Manganese sulfate can be applied
as basal, seeds and spraying. "Do not use excessive amount." is the
most important thing, or it would cause poisoning.
